Return to Sharla

The above image to the left had a macro setting, while the two scenic photos had the scene mode setting with night selected.

The photo to the left was shot using the "rule of thirds," supposedly getting a more interesting photograph when the item of interest is not in the center of the frame. The center photo is using the framing technique - using objects to create a naturalframe. The interesting rock to the right is not using the "rule of thirds" notion and I like it in the center!

Chelsea was taken using the portrait and scene mode. The middle photo is of my teacher, Bobbi, and some classmates. I had to take this telephone booth photo. Somehow putting a telephone booth right there, blocking the beach, seemed incongruous.

The reflection of the pilings appealed. I had to take a couple of lake shots - the center one shows two birds landing in the lake. Please click here or on that one image to see a larger photo - I'm really pleased with it - I left it large, but be sure to scroll around to see the detail. The last photo is just a lake scene from the house. I just loved the reflection of the trees and the clouds in the lake. It's easy to see why I don't want to move!

Oops - one more - click here on on the photo to enlarge to see this morning's photo:
